Experience Degree?
Brixton University's degree program has been specifically developed by
to provide a legal way for people to gain their academic
qualifications by using their previous learning experience and accomplishments.
The minimum requirements needed to qualify for a degree are provided in the
"degree requirements" section. Applicants who believe they qualify for a degree
complete an online application for a free evaluation. Once their application is
approved, an applicant can then decide to proceed by paying the appropriate
fees. After the fees are paid, the diploma and documents are prepared. For
approved applicants, the whole process can often be completed within 7 days.

Learning Assessment, how do I justify a degree for my life experience?
Brixton University’s assessment board will review the information furnished
and gathered, to determine the level of your skills, knowledge and competence
you acquired from your work experience, your voluntary activities, your
avocation, your military service, your homemaking experience and knowledge from
independent study. In brief, we analyze your "experiential learning" and this
term legitimately describes most of the learning that occurs in our lives.
5. Is this a legal degree?

Degrees
are legal degrees issued
for distance learning and your
portfolio assessment is based
entirely on your life experience. Therefore, you may include it on your
resume, business card, letterhead, web site, job application, or any other
form you choose to fill out.
You worked for this degree no less than someone who sat
in a classroom. In many cases your degree represents years and years of work,
knowledge, and accomplishment. Be proud that you were able to earn it by an
independent evaluation process.
6. How can I use my
degree?
Some people want the degree to assist them in getting a better
job. You might have the experience and the knowledge to do the job, but often
times the person with the degree will be picked over the person without it.
Getting your degree will level the playing field and improve your prospects

is included in my degree package?
The degree package is what you
get for your payment, and consists of the following:
Diploma: You will
receive two diplomas printed on top quality parchment paper. They are comparable
to that which is produced at most traditional universities. There is no mention
of your degree being earned through life experience. It is 8 1/2 x 11 inches.
Transcripts: This is your
academic record. Your transcripts are issued upon graduation. They include
all courses to meet your degree requirement, and have either a (P) for
passing or a letter grade and GPA depending on your preference.
Letter of Recommendation: A formal letter signed by the Dean of Brixton
University is issued verifying that your diploma has been legally awarded.
Alumni ID Card: You will receive a wallet sized ID bearing the
university logo and seal with your personal name, Student ID number, and
year graduated.

Brixton University is a
"Virtual" University offering all of its education and degree programs
online. There are no physical classrooms. The University does has
administrative offices internationally. Our faculty are from all over the
world and provide courses online within individual, dedicated online

two degrees?
Accomplished individuals might qualify for two or more
degrees. This could be a bachelor/master or master/doctorate. If you wish to
apply for a combination degree please note that on your application. If you do

Yes! Your degree is verifiable! Your student record will be maintained on
file permanently. Any third party such as an employer who you authorize will be
sent a confirmation of your alumni status which will include your graduation
date, your degree and major. There is a small administration fee for each
certified copy sent.
14. Can I get a replacement
degree if it is damaged?
Yes! You can get a replacement degree. If the
diploma or documents are damaged in shipping to you they will be completely
replaced without cost. If at a later date you damage or lose any documents they
also may be replaced. Just reference your student number and the files can be
accessed. In this case, there will be a charge for replacement documents.
15. Can I get a brochure mailed to my home
address?
One of the reasons fees are kept so low is because we don't
waste money on administrative costs. No brochures are produced, thus saving
printing and mailing costs. All information is available on our web site.

We can
ship to any county. Brixton University is proud to have students in almost every

18. Is this a good way to get a degree?
For
some people it is the only way they will get a degree. You must decide for
yourself if this is a good program for you. It is not our intention to sell you
on our program or to hype it up. We believe you will agree that we have not
added in any of the normal sales hype you usually see. This is because we know
our program is not for everyone. We don't want to sell you on it if it isn't
right for you. There are some limitations to your Brixton University degree.
Brixton University does not offer Medical, Legal or Pharmacology degrees. Of
course a degree from Brixton University has the advantage of being very quick
and very affordable, and the lowest price available anywhere. So we ask you to consider this; are you going to return to
college to get your degree? How long will it take you? How much will it cost? We
are not trying to compare a degree from Brixton University to Yale or Harvard.

While the definition of a
diploma mill is somewhat confusing, it usually refers to paying for the printing
of a degree, without proper evaluation for your life experience, for payment of a fee. Brixton University
is not a diploma mill because it has a legal authority to independently evaluate
your life experience by its board of trustees, and to issue life experience degrees.
Brixton University does not
grant degrees for the payment of a fee, and has set out the requirements
necessary to qualify for the degree.
